We are a small and proud team of talented writers who came in on the ground floor of The Other Woman Magazine to help the publisher’s vision come to fruition. We bring a wide range of skills and experience to TOW while addressing topics from love and marriage, mental health, motherhood, and more. Our chaplain ensures TOW is covered with spiritual enlightenment and encouragement. The male contributors specifically write for the men’s section. They write their truth with passion and transparency! Meet Team TOW below.

Brittany Davis
Freelance Writer

Brittany has always loved to write, so she is living out her dream as a freelance writer. She is referred to as “Smiley” because she always has a smile on her face. Helping people and seeing other people happy makes her happy; however, she is happiest when she’s with her dogs. She strives to be a light – encouraging and uplifting. A total beach bum, Brittany loves to travel and be outdoors exploring new places and learning new things. She loves cooking, bowling, and watching the Montgomery Biscuits play with her younger brother and is also an Atlanta Braves fan. Brittany especially loves watching Auburn football. War Eagle!

Lara McKnight

Freelance writer, “puntificator,” and guru of giggling,
Lara McKnight wants to rule the world but has been holding back a little because she doesn’t want to peak too early. Lara is grateful for her village and has volunteered in her community in various roles – from PTA to neighborhood leadership to local activism. Lara and her saint of a husband live in Pensacola, Florida, and have raised four children to a reasonable semblance of adulthood (“And if y’all have any complaints, put ’em in the book!”) She enjoys the company of her disappointingly well-behaved grandchildren, long walks on the beach, and cheese.
